The Professional Bridesmaid

Maggie is a professional bridesmaid/wedding planner who takes on a high-profile wedding and she must hide her true identity from the entire wedding party and others seeking to make the wedding public news in the community where everyone knows the mayor's daughter. She hides her real name and financial status.

She also has to hide her true self from Henry...A guy she met at the park and suddenly sees again at Alexis' house. Maggie had to make her home a temporary getaway until the wedding. The wedding planner that started the job quit and it became known she didn't work for Alexis anymore.

The mayor's daughter invites all her bridesmaids to dinner in a restaurant and conversations on who Maggie is starts going on and the topic of the bridal shower becomes the main topic with the ladies that will attend. Her made up name Maisie sounds familiar, and she has to go along with the story on how they met. This line of work seems harder than it looks for Maggie. And the next day Henry is standing in Alexis's house.

Alexis is upset they haven't found the perfect location for the bridal shower and Maggie assured the place where it can be held.  The bridesmaid dresses are an issue and Maggie encourages her to pick her favorite. Maggie helps Alexis stay calm and assured the wedding will go as planned.

The manager of the mayor's campaign tells Maggie it's now her job to keep Henry focused on the wedding and not the mayor's campaign. Henry is an investigative reporter, and his questions always goes back to Alexis's father's job. This idea brings Maggie and Henry together. However, she not allowed to tell him She's a professional bridesmaid.

Henry becomes a pro on the topic of weddings, flowers and dresses. He's actually enjoying their talks together and a friendship starts to develop and it's all while Maggie is keeping her name and true business a secret. Where there are secrets, there's a lack of trust that comes along with it. How this all pays out is very interesting to the viewer.

Maggie is so informative on the history of wedding traditions. Henry is impressed and gives Maggie a red rose. It's a pretty scene that's so cute inside the flower shop. It looks like dating without asking to go on a date. He assures Maggie he believes in love and commitment.

When the bridesmaids and the bride spend some time at the spa, Maggie saves the day by saying Alexis made a fabulous choice with choosing the right dresses. And they can compromise on the accessories. Although Maggie is super talented...She needs some help with her French.

At the bridal dress boutique, Henry and Maggie tell each other about their former relationships and what they learned from it. Maggie tells her friend about everything going wrong and how much she likes Henry. She hates keeping secrets from him.

While at a dance class, Henry dances with Maggie and he's a really good dancer. And he asks Maggie out to dinner and she says yes. They are dancing really slow together and it's romantic.

At dinner Maggie explains why she loves weddings and it would probably insult the haters.  Her point of view makes people want to have positive experiences with every wedding they attend. He brings up the lie Maggie is a wine distributor and asks how this is possible since she spends so much time at weddings. Henry also discovers Alexis prize horse's name was Massie. So he's on to her.

At the bridal shower, it's apparent Maggie is working. Henry shows up and believes she working. Henry and Maggie talk in the park and he asks if she'd like to go on a real date after the wedding and says yes. But will they make it?

At a brunch Henry overhears Maggie's conversation with the mayor. When the conversation is over, Henry calls Maggie by her real name. He remembers how he called her name twice in the park and she didn't respond to Massie. He feels betrayed and let down.

So the wedding is still on for Alexis and all is well except Maggie's heart. Alexis tells Henry the entire truth and says Maggie became a true friend. They start dancing and Maggie introduces herself and Henry kisses her. Two months later, the are still in love and staying strong.

This movie is cute and fun to watch and it represents true love that deserves four 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.
