The Professional Bridesmaid

Maggie is a professional bridesmaid/wedding planner who takes on a high-profile wedding and she must hide her true identity from the entire wedding party and others seeking to make the wedding public news in the community where everyone knows the mayor's daughter. She hides her real name and financial status.

She also has to hide her true self from Henry...A guy she met at the park and suddenly sees again at Alexis' house. Maggie had to make her home a temporary getaway until the wedding. The wedding planner that started the job quit and it became known she didn't work for Alexis anymore.

The mayor's daughter invites all her bridesmaids to dinner in a restaurant and conversations on who Maggie is starts going on and the topic of the bridal shower becomes the main topic with the ladies that will attend. Her made up name Maisie sounds familiar, and she has to go along with the story on how they met. This line of work seems harder than it looks for Maggie. And the next day Henry is standing in Alexis's house.

Alexis is upset they haven't found the perfect location for the bridal shower and Maggie assured the place where it can be held.  The bridesmaid dresses are an issue and Maggie encourages her to pick her favorite. Maggie helps Alexis stay calm and assured the wedding will go as planned.

The manager of the mayor's campaign tells Maggie it's now her job to keep Henry focused on the wedding and not the mayor's campaign. Henry is an investigative reporter, and his questions always goes back to Alexis's father's job. This idea brings Maggie and Henry together. However, she not allowed to tell him She's a professional bridesmaid.

Henry becomes a pro on the topic of weddings, flowers and dresses. He's actually enjoying their talks together and a friendship starts to develop and it's all while Maggie is keeping her name and true business a secret. Where there are secrets, there's a lack of trust that comes along with it. How this all pays out is very interesting to the viewer.

Maggie is so informative on the history of wedding traditions. Henry is impressed and gives Maggie a red rose. It's a pretty scene that's so cute inside the flower shop. It looks like dating without asking to go on a date. He assures Maggie he believes in love and commitment.

When the bridesmaids and the bride spend some time at the spa, Maggie saves the day by saying Alexis made a fabulous choice with choosing the right dresses. And they can compromise on the accessories. Although Maggie is super talented...She needs some help with her French.

At the bridal dress boutique, Henry and Maggie tell each other about their former relationships and what they learned from it. Maggie tells her friend about everything going wrong and how much she likes Henry. She hates keeping secrets from him.

While at a dance class, Henry dances with Maggie and he's a really good dancer. And he asks Maggie out to dinner and she says yes. They are dancing really slow together and it's romantic.

At dinner Maggie explains why she loves weddings and it would probably insult the haters.  Her point of view makes people want to have positive experiences with every wedding they attend. He brings up the lie Maggie is a wine distributor and asks how this is possible since she spends so much time at weddings. Henry also discovers Alexis prize horse's name was Massie. So he's on to her.

At the bridal shower, it's apparent Maggie is working. Henry shows up and believes she working. Henry and Maggie talk in the park and he asks if she'd like to go on a real date after the wedding and says yes. But will they make it?

At a brunch Henry overhears Maggie's conversation with the mayor. When the conversation is over, Henry calls Maggie by her real name. He remembers how he called her name twice in the park and she didn't respond to Massie. He feels betrayed and let down.

So the wedding is still on for Alexis and all is well except Maggie's heart. Alexis tells Henry the entire truth and says Maggie became a true friend. They start dancing and Maggie introduces herself and Henry kisses her. Two months later, the are still in love and staying strong.

This movie is cute and fun to watch and it represents true love that deserves four 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.

Ophelia

Ophelia is a beautiful woman who works as one of the queen's ladies in waiting. Born as a little peasant girl, she finds herself in a castle her father also works for, however they are not as privileged as their associates. This story is found in Shakespeare's Hamlet story of murder and love. In Ophelia's story, she is far more stronger as a woman and a wife. She is well read and has a love for nature and swimming.

One night, Ophelia reads to the queen about a story of a woman who receives pleasure from another man. She smiles as she reads on about this lovers affair. For some reason te other girls laugh at the thought of Ophelia reading. They often laugh at Ophelia...Maybe it's improper teasing however something special happens to her.

After long years of being educated abroad, Hamlet returns home to greet his parents. Ophelia sees him and walks on to enjoy swimming. With no thought anyone else is there, Hamlet comes to the lake and finds Ophelia there. Ophelia is wet and it's improper for him to see her that way. And he accidentally dives in the water and Ophelia runs off. After this incident, Hamlet and Ophelia find themselves together, alone.

During a party at the palace, Hamlet follows Ophelia to the garden and kisses her. He also took a red ribbon from her hair. Strangely, Hamlet's uncle sees the ribbon and uses his sword to lift it off of his person. The two fight at swords play, and Hamlet wins first. His relationship with his uncle is dry one, full of hate.

Hamlet kisses Ophelia and says his father would never allow it. Hamlet leaves home once again. The week he leaves becomes strange. Ophelia sees a man cloaked in black and suddenly the king is poisoned by a snake and dies. And the king's brother takes his throne. Hamlet returns angry about his uncle stealing his crown. He bows and walks away enraged this happens.

Hamlet and Ophelia choose to Mary in secret and they consummate the marriage. The secret is kept and one day while Ophelia is waiting on the queen, Hamlet's uncle comes in wearing the same clothes the night the king died. She checks his cloak and finds snake poison inside its pocket. He sees Ophelia standing there and asks if his nephew gave her a trinket of their love and he discovers her ring. He holds her by the neck as her father follows them in the grand hall. She is forced to speak to Hamlet there. Ophelia tells Hamlet she found venom in his uncles cloak. They watch the two speak and they believe Hamlet is mad.

Hamlet hires actors in the palace to entertain everyone. They enacted the day the real king died. Hamlet appears mad and withdraws his sword to kill his uncle and Ophelia stands in the way. Her father is fearful he lost his position with the throne and Ophelia is removed as the queen's ladies in waiting. So her father goes to talk to the queen and Hamlet thinks he's his uncle and struck hiss sword at him and her father dies. Hamlet said he was sorry and was led away.

Ophelia's brother returns to have vengeance for his father's death. The new king tries to have Ophelia married to someone else and it doesn't go through because his uncle is strange. She takes poison from the queen's sister and pretends to be mad. She runs off to the lake and swallows the poison and pretends to drown. Ophelia is placed in a coffin and a friend helps her out. She goes to the queen's sister's place and said she to much poison. The queen appears and helps Ophelia cut her hair to appear as a boy.

The duel goes on between Hamlet and Ophelia's brother. Hamlets uncle poisons the sword Ophelia's brother uses. And they started then her brother cuts Hamlet's arm and then Hamlet cuts his arm. Then Hamlet falls down and his mother checks to see if he is alright. She knows he was poisoned and takes her son's sword and kills the king with it. Invaders force themselves in and the kingdom is lost.

Ophelia said to Hamlet before e died,he vowed to love her. His honor was more important and she leaves without him. She makes it to a safe place and had a little girl. This movie is a wonderful watch because it's full of love and hate. The romance is believable and there's definitely chemistry between the two. It receives a special five 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 rating from RMR.

Sappy Holiday

Joy is a talented chef who is working hard on becoming a new executive chef. Something goes wrong with a blogger who comes to dine at the restaurant Joy (JJ) is working for. The review didn't go so well and now Joy faces the reality her boyfriend will propose on Christmas Eve. She has a conversation with her dad that she's only been dating him for several months and an engagement is way to soon for them.

Later, she agrees to visit her boyfriends family in Vermont and drives her boyfriend's car and as it begins to snow, Joy has a little car accident. And then she meets James. He is nice enough to help JJ with her car and gives her a lovely place to stay while the car gets fixed.

James is a maple farmer and has an interesting career. He shows Joy how maple syrup is made and their relationship starts to warm up. Before meeting Joy...He sees a shooting star and wished for snow. His niece wished for something entirely different and believes Joy is her wish come true. Joy cooks for them and helps with arts and crafts for Christmas.

As time goes by Joy and James grow closer together however Joy refuses to kiss him because of her soon to be fiance. At this point their chemistry grows while her car is still being fixed. Her boyfriend doesn't come to get her and that looks like a lack of love on his part.

So she makes it to her boyfriend's family home and finds herself alone there. It is far from the maple farms warm and friendly environment. Her boyfriend's mom is the mayor of their town and she's snobby- far from a nice mother in-law Joy deserves. Jy makes paper snow flakes and the mayor says is she using scissors on her couch. Joy tries giving her a hug and doesn't allow it. The are pretty mean people.

Joy loves her career as a chef but her boyfriend doesn't tell his parents Joy is a chef. The boyfriend is a doctor and there are parts of him that seems embarrassing to say she cooks food for a living. The proposal was set out to make his mom look better in the campaign she's running for. When you know in your heart you don't fit in some ones family it doesn't go away.

Joy is a perfect fit for James and his family, and there's chemistry between the two. Joy makes the decision to return to the maple farm. She is rescued again by James and they start a new life together and James asks Joy to marry him, and she says yes.

This is wonderful romantic and jolly movie for the season and the two romantics have a lot I common. I was never tired of watching this movie and it deserves a five 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 review. A great movie for helpless romantics.

Sense and Sensibility

The age when being a man makes you first in line for an inheritance, the Dashwood girls face leaving the home they've known all their lives. There half brother gains the entire estate, when their father dies. And he doesn't keep the promise he made to his father that he would support his half sisters. Because Fanny wants to boast on gaining the estate to her brother Edward Ferrars, he visits their new home.

Along with Edward's presence, he falls in love with Elinor Dashwood. They spend quality time together and form an attachment. This happens while Fanny faces the reality her brother loves Elinor. With naive assumptions, Mrs. Dashwood thanks Fanny for inviting Edward to their home...Fanny makes it clear their mother will remove Edward's inheritance if he marries wrong. Mrs. Dashwood tells Mr. Ferrars they're leaving to a place called Barton Cottage.

With only five hundred pounds a year, they move to Barton cottage in Devonshire. Before they leave Edward tries confiding in Elinor about a childish engagement to another woman, however Fanny pulls him away from Elinor and he doesn't finish the topic of Lucy Steele.

The cottage is cute but smaller than their previous home. They will need a lot of wood to keep the place warm at night. They share rooms which is another huge change in their private lives. There are times when they find themselves to be guests of Mrs. Jennings. She's an open host who loves exposing other people's secrets. She also sees herself as a matchmaker to the Dashwood girls.

Colonel Brandon is a dear friend to Sir John and he's encouraged to pursue Marianne Dashwood. Of course Brandon has doubts because of the age difference. Marianne pushes the idea Mrs. Jennings has of the two away. And that same day Marianne meets John Willoughby and is attracted to him. Marianne Dashwood has an idea of love John embodies and for her it's love at first sight.

John and Marianne grow closer together but days later, when it appears he will propose, he leaves to London. Marianne is devastated and wants to see John again. Colonel Brandon is soon to leave to London also, when he receives a letter on the day he is to host a picnic. Later, at another one of Mrs. Jennings dinners Lucy Steele confides in Elinor about her long engagements to Edward Ferrars. Elinor is devastated at the reality this is what he was trying to tell her months before. And in order to keep their secret, Lucy tells Jennings they are talking about London and all of their diversions.

Of course Mrs. Jennings invites them to her home in London and when they arrive Marianne gives her first letter to the butler, and it is sent to John Willoughby. He doesn't write her back for many nights until after they attend a ball. John is there with a woman named Miss Grey and she inherited a wealth over fifty thousand pounds...And of course this is why Willoughby is with her.

Marianne is devastated and demands to know what's wrong. He writes her and tells her nothing and lies to her. When Mrs Jennings tells them bth he is to marry Miss Grey and her fifty thousand pounds at the end of the month. Marianne becomes love sick and can't believe he could do this to her.

Colonel Brandon adds more to the story for Elinor and finds that John got Brandon's niece pregnant. Of course this news should have helped Marianne more but it doesn't. Edward visits Elinor and Lucy Steele is there and saw the two greet. He is then surrounded by three women who asks him of keeping his vow. He then leaves with Lucy Steele.

Lucy tells Fanny of her long engagement to her brother and gets pushed out of her house. Jennings tells the Dashwood girls and Marianne asks Elinor why she didn't tell her. And she says she swore she wouldn't. She sees Edward again and tells him the Colonel promises him a new property for him and his wife. Edward wants to say more but doesn't.

Marianne and Elinor are invited to stay at the Palmer's estate which isn't far from John Willoughby's. Marianne walks in the rain to see it and stands on a hill and quotes William Shakespeare. Colonel finds her and she is cold with fever. Marianne almost dies from loving John Willoughby. She thanks the Colonel for everything, and the two become attached.

Edward is freed from his long engagement and tells Elinor and asks to marry her. Everything woks out for the two Dashwood girls and they are proof of true love and happiness. This is a great love story and it deserves 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.

Namaste Wahala

Didi and Raj met when they bumped into each other while jogging on the beach. For Raj it was love at first sight. So much so he jogged an extra hour to find her again. They both confide to their friends they think they're beautiful and Raj says he's going to marry her. However, though they both find each other attractive, their parents will not approve.

Her father thinks she should get involved with his employee named Somto. A nice guy but not right for her.

Within their circle of friends, they're both acquainted with Leila, Raj's cousin. She has a conference and they meet again. Raj is confident he's going to marry her and tells her. Wide smiles appear quickly and they start dating and then there's a song. A cute song and dance is suddenly on the screen and it's cute.

Preemo, another one of Didi's father's employees, sees them at a restaurant and video tapes it. Raj tells Didi he wants to meet her parents and fear overtakes her. She tells her friend at the Hard Rock Cafe. And says her father wants her to be with Somto. Her friend laughs at the thought. She knows her father wouldn't approve and Preemo shows up and asks if her father knows about it. Didi is more scared of the reality Preemo knows.

She tells her mom and her mom is excited to meet her boyfriend. It happens, Raj shows up handsome and all and her mother doesn't know what to say, however her father does and it was very scary. Raj leaves mortified that her father yells at the idea of them being together, and the fact that Didi didn't tell them ahead of time he's Indian and wasn't great.

Raj is angry and he tells his friend, and his friend laughs at Raj for bringing wine instead of a goat. They're Nigerian and of course they have a culture...Like everybody else. And more happens when Raj's mom comes to town and she isn't happy with Didi being with her son.

Didi and Leila work for an organization for women and a case of a physical assault develops with one of their associates. The guys father is one of Didi's father's clients and he of course asks his daughter to drop the case. Preemo is involved so everyone knows it's not a fare case. Some important details are left out by Didi's client. Her daddy's team says she attacked him.

Didi discovers the video was edited and tampered with. Didi confronts her father about it and he doesn't care. She tells her mom she's leaving and refuses to leave the case. She cries and moves in with Raj. And his mother asks why she's there and makes her sleep in her bed. A very funny and sad thing.

Didi's mom wants her daughter to come home and goes to her friend's apartment. She finds out where Didi is and goes to Raj's. There was another verbal fight, this time between two mothers. Didi leaves and they break-up- for a time.

The case is finalized against her father's team and it's known that this rich guy assaulted this woman and Didi is happy they won. But there’s a problem with her parents and Raj's mother. Leila tries to talk sense into her aunt and tells her she should give Didi a chance.

Namaste Wahala is a great film and the production team did a great job casting the actors. It's romantic and funny. There's a lot of chemistry between the two of them. They also did a great job with their lines and it's fun to watch. RMR rates the film with 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟!

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

Connor Mead has a problem with love and it scares him to death to settle down and commit to one woman and one relationship.  The word PLAYER suits him just fine.  He claims he doesn't believe in love but he loves Jenny. The beginning of movie has him surrounded with women wearing lingerie.

He keeps on waving good-bye to them. There's no stability in his life. His beliefs come from somewhere and it's his uncle  Wayne. Before Connor became a womanizer his uncle played the cards before Connor existed. He wasted time playing women and taught Connor to  do the same.

It's amazing how his brother invited him to his wedding. His brother Paul is marrying Sandra and he received him with loving arms. Connor doesn't believe marriage is necessary.  It's amazing ing how they're brothers. They ask him to give a speech and he's annoyed by it.

He makes a pass at an older woman and didn't think it was rude. He sees his first love there and Jenny knows him well...Unfortunately Connor's the guy that broke her heart. So much she knows he shouldn't be there.

Uncle Wayne shows up and  says he wasted time living the way he did and doesn't want Connor to do the same. He's that put out or get out type of guy. Women have been cheated on and then dumped by this guy, and what he did to Jenny wasn't cool.

The funny scene is when all of Connor's ex-girlfriends show up to remind him of the wrong things he's done. Some said he brought shame to their family and others never seen him again. Cause and effect is so important in this movie.

Well, Connor sees Jenny talking to another guy and he gets jealous. His lost opportunity sinks him on the inside. He is guided by three ghosts including Allison. It all began when he was a kid and he gains a new perspective on how to treat women. It's more of some kid of game that hurts them first before they hurt me.  There's people who behave that way because they were hurt by somebody else.

Paul tells his soon to be wife h cheated when they weren't that serious. Connor gets involved and wrong things were said. Of course he's going to defend his brother. However, it wasn't the right time.

Things get tricky when Connor destroys his kid brother's wedding cake. Things begin to get worse in the real world and he's asked his brother to leave because he wasn't happy to be there so he needs to leave. Connor goes to get things back on track and leaves to stop the mess he created.

He sees the future and doesn't like it. So he learns the wedding is off and he goes speed driving in the snow to stop her from leaving. He helps her understand Paul loves her. And they get married.

Connor and Jenny reconcile and find themselves dancing in the snow. A beautiful ending for decades of missing each other. And I believe some romantic scenes were great and others were strange. So I believe this film is worthy of three 🌟 🌟 🌟.

Bewitched

Isabel is tired of warlocks and wants a normal relationship with a guy who knows nothing about witches and warlocks. She lands in Los Angeles, California and begins her new life without using magic, but quickly uses it when she runs into problems. It's always a last time when her real desires become obstacles.

Her father warns her and says being a witch is who she is. I don't think real magic has anything to do with witchcraft. However, if they use ingredients for sorcery, then they probably are. Her need to be desired and normal takes her on a amazing journey. A new version of Bewitched is on the way and Jack Wyatt needs a nose.

Isabel continues going to stores, especially a book store and this is where it happens, Jack sees her nose and she's perfect for the job. Isabel uses magic for everything and this is why fascinated with turning on the sprinklers and pops popcorn in the microwave. Except placing TV wires in its proper place.

Isabel wants a job and receives one with Jack Wyatt. Bewitched was a sensational TV show in its time and a new version is expected to be a success. Her desire to be normal creates certain problems and some solutions. In the beginning of their relationship, Jack doesn't know she's the real thing.

During rehearsal Isabel says you need a permit to have a poison apple...A very funny thing to say. She's so believable the job is her's to keep.  When Isabel says to her neighbor her father wouldn't approve he transports into her home. The neighbor didn't see him at first however she finds him charming.

The show is a winner and everything goes well until she hears Jack talking about her with his manager. Isabel is livid and believes he tricked her. On set, she uses her powers to hurt Jack while filming. Her wiggles gets a round of applause from a live studio audience.

Aunt Clara visits Isabel and she persuades her to try a hex on Jack and suddenly he wants Isabel. Jack is overhead in love with her and his Hollywood friends don't know what's going on. Isabel needs her aunt Clara to undo the hex.

They have dinner together and then things start moving backwards. Then the truth about his acting and personality comes out and he's devastated. People love Isabel as Samantha and he's comparing himself to the dog and her. Then Isabel quits and walks away.

Jack asks her to come back and the need to Isabel is there. He admits he's being mean and selfish. They start over and the show continues. Isabel and Jack really becomes a couple and they kiss 💋. And she becomes a bit naughty when Jack's ex shows up.

There's a party at Jack's place and he celebrates his divorce. Isabel is caught off guard with Jack's speech and wants to reveal who she really is. Wow, she uses her broom stick and Jack freaks out. And she leaves.

They try to find a new Samantha and it doesn't go well. He tries to get over her and she tries to get over him. Isabel acknowledges She's in love. They find each other in the studio and rekindle what they almost lost.

I think Bewitched is a good romantic film with cute comical scenes. It shows how people are willing to change for love. Though obstacles were in the way, she gains a new love. It deserves four 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.
